May is Women’s Health Month
Hi, friends!
May is Women’s Health Month, and I wanted to remind you about the importance of following the recommended preventive health schedule for things like cardiovascular, colonoscopy, and mammogram screening.
Medicare covers these screenings when done according to their guidelines, and it’s a great way to make sure you are staying healthy as you age.
Give me a call at (804) 516-4822 if I can help you (or your family or friends) with your Medicare, supplemental insurance, or life insurance needs.
Thank you for trusting me to help you. I’m so glad to have you here with me.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance
If you’re concerned about healthcare costs, hospital indemnity insurance can pay you cash benefits for each day you’re in the hospital or for outpatient services.
If you are on a Medicare Advantage plan, it doesn’t cover the first five days of a hospital stay. That’s where hospital indemnity insurance can help cover deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and even expenses like travel and lodging.
You can learn more about it in this 2-minute video, or give me a call at (804) 516-4822.
May is Also Mental Health Awareness Month
As we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month, please remember that whatever you are experiencing, there are resources available to help you.
The Institute on Aging has trained volunteers standing by 24/7 to help depressed older adults on their toll-free Friendship Line. This crisis line helps adults age 60 and older and adults living with disabilities.
If you or someone you know needs help, call the Friendship Line at (800) 971-0016.
