AEP Starts on October 15!

I hope you are enjoying our beautiful fall season in Richmond. This month, I want to talk about AEP!
AEP is the Annual Enrollment Period that allows all Medicare beneficiaries to enroll, disenroll, or make changes to your 2026 coverage.
This important window is open from October 15 through December 7, 2025. All of the information can be confusing and overwhelming, and I’d love to help you through the process.

I’ll Be at the 19th Health and Wellness Fair!
I’m also excited to share that I’ll be a vendor at the “Living Your Best with Less Stress” Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, October 16 from 10am to 2pm.
This event will be held at the Fifth Baptist Church Family Life Center at 1415 W Cary Street in Richmond and is hosted by the Richmond North Chapter #5356 of AARP, Inc. There will be door prizes, exhibits, flu shots, health information, and blood pressure checks.
RSVP is required by Friday, September 26 and the fee is $15 to cover the cost of your lunch.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is a great time to share information and reminders to get your annual mammogram and other routine screenings!
Have you had your annual screening for breast cancer?
Medicare covers a screening mammogram once per year, with diagnostic mammogram coverage also provided as medically necessary.
